ALL US encryption software systems have back-door portals for NSA

 

Australia, Canada, Great Britain, New Zealand all cooperated with the USA in the Echelon program,  “… a global system for the interception of private and commercial communications” mostly targeting signal intelligence (SIGINT) since the 1960’s.

Think about it. Would you buy encryption software from any of these countries and expect that you would be safe from NSA backdoors?

Back-door software portals – old news

Good Job Guardian! However, The “Crypto Wars” started in the mid 1990’s.  This revelation shouldn’t be a surprise. It is not a new thing.

The first clue was a big flap that developed when the government had a major legal fight over export restriction on companies that developed the first 128 bit encryption programs. The government insisted on access to a backdoor portal. The issue went dark,  until now.
